New Years Day Run

That Dog is Dead!

We have officially done good. What a day and what a great run. If you missed coming out for the Hair of the Dog Run on New Year's Day, you missed out BIG time! A whole crowd of us headed out for a jaunt on the rain swelled Seaton Hiking Trail on Monday morning. While it may have been wet and muddy, the weather was a balmy 10C and the sun was out. Shorts and T-shirts reined as we charged thru puddles and up slippery hills. We stopped at some beautiful lookouts to admire the gorgeous sunny views. Some runners were seen washing up in the knee deep river! Even with the occasional grumbling and cursing at the route committee, it seemed that everyone still had a great run. But that wasn't the best part!

The fun continued when we got back to the parking area. Tables were brought out and soon found heavy laden with all sorts of food. It seemed that everyone had brung their "A" game today. We ate and drank merrily! Thank you to all that came.
