
So Week 6 of your summer of training is done. We have increased intensities across the board and your bodies have adapted well. We have gotten used to the main exercises as well as the dynamic warmup and the trail run route. It is great to see how you all help each other out and are able to pace and encourage each other. Keep up the great work.
Remember that now is the time to start paying particular attention to those nagging aches and pains. If there is something that is sore week after week, you should pay particular attention to treating it or resting it. You just have to be honest with yourself and reevaluate as you go. Remember, what is your ultimate goal and motivation for doing this training?
Next week we will be changing things up a bit. We will be adding another strength element to the workout. We will be quite tight for time in the next few weeks, so please get there on time and ready to work out. I have included the warmup routine for a reason, so I would prefer that you complete it before heading out to the trails.
