This week's runs

Tuesday night's Track Workout: We will again be meeting for week 8??? of your training in becoming a stronger, more efficient runner. The meeting time is again at 7pm with a whole lot of stuff packed and wedged into the hour and a half workout. Last week there were some delays with the GO train, and participants suffered from not being able to warm up properly. Please Please Please, try to do your best to get there on time and if you are going to drop any portion of the workout, drop the hard stuff at the bottom of the board, not the warm up stuff and the stretching. It looks like it is going to be another hot Tuesday night, so don't forget the drinking water and the good attitude!

Thursday night: Our weekly trail romp thru the hardpacked and well worn sections of the Rouge Valley. We meet at 7 pm at the Glen Rouge Campground parking lot off Kingston Rd. Bring someone to run with if you are new. This past Saturday we had some noobs out running with us, let's hope they come back and join us for the run to Pearce house and back. There are plenty of levels of ability and endurance out on Thursday nights, so you should be able to find someone to run with. ADVICE: As we are approaching marathon season, these Thursday night runs should be a test of your endurance as well as a push to raise your VO2 and Lactic Acid thresholds. Don't hold back if you got it in you. Challenge yourself by going thru the Gauntlet, or running up the Eiger. Let me know what you are up for and I will be happy to push you.

Saturday Morning: With the potential for more Noobs to come out this week and give our group a try, I think we should do a little longer loop from the normal Glen Rouge Parking lot. So meeting at 7:30 for a run up to Beare road and back (I promise, No bushwhacking or Rail running). Remember that this is a social run, so we try to stay as a group and only try to lose the mean people...

Sunday: TBA

If this is the Riff Raff logo I like it. Completely different from the RR logo. Perhaps a beer or someone wearing a mullet would really finish it off.
