Tapering day 1 went well. Alarm went off at 6 am, but I turned over and went back to sleep. Tea with the other Riff Raff was a good idea, no-one had run except for one "keener".Saw the neighbours for a change. Where did all the kids come from? Did someone spawn, or had I not noticed them before? New people at number 13.
We sat around and watched TV. Started to throw paper balls at each other. As thty say " It's all good fun until someone gets hurt". Perhaps throwing my Around The Bay medal wasn't a good idea (it was only a glancing blow), but throwing a full water bottle at me was not necessary. Luckily I ducked and it hit the cat. The cat has gone right off his milk. Sleeping in separate rooms.

To quickly cool down a painful sunburn, gently apply full strength vinegar on your skin. Do this the minute you come in from the sun and stop the burn before it starts to hurt in the first place.
