Okay, so I survived Sunday and met a few neighbours, but there is still a lot of week to go. This "not running" thing can be catchy, so I thought that I'd step outside and see the neighbours again.I had to put on shorts and sandal to look sporty. Looking down at my feet I decided that God does have a sense of humour. How could someone make such complex life-forms and then make feet? Have you looked at yours. There is no meat on then, just skin and knobbly toes. I think foot fetishes are really weird!
Anyway so I spoke to the neighbours again. Didn't notice that the lady at 13 has a missing front tooth. I think looking at her wearing her husband socks took my gaze off her mouth. Hey, the lady at 14 has a cast in the right eye. What is the saying? "Beauty is only skin deep, but ugly goes to the bone."
They all admired that fact that I could even attempt to run 5K and asked me how far the marathon is. Yes I smiled and said 15K. The ladies at 13 and 14 think that I must be really fit!!!
By the way the cat is still off its milk.
