Spring Workouts at the Track '08

Okay it is time to get back into shape for Summer. With a quarter of Spring already gone it is time to shake out the cobwebs and perform a Spring time bout of Strength and Stability workouts.

Okay, the next round of training starts on Thursday, April 24th and runs for 8 weeks until June 12th. They will be held at the Pine Ridge Secondary School track.

The workouts will include strength, stability, and balance training. It will include drills to build your core strength as well as your cardio conditioning. It is geared towards runners and trail runners who are looking to improve their conditioning and endurance. It will also help with injury prevention, flexibility and Biomechanics. It is not limited to runners, everyone is welcome to come out.
The workouts are from 6:30 to 7:30pm, but come for 6pm if you want to include the trail run as a warmup.

You will need:
  • a mat or something to lie on to do your exercises and stretches.
  • a skipping rope.
  • a 3 or 4 lb ball.
  • a good attitude.

Cost of the workout series is $15 per time or $70 for the 8 weeks.
