What are you doing on Thursday nights for the next 10 weeks?

Answer: Functional Strength training for the Endurance Athlete Runner.

Who: This is a workout program for all levels of runners who are looking to improve their running efficiency, strength and stability. This workout is open to anyone from 5k'rs to Boston Qualifiers.

Do you want to run faster and more efficiently? Do you need a Kick Start to get you ready for a Spring or Summer event? Do you like the support of working out with a group?

The program will run every Thursday night with a balance of running, core strengthening, stability exercises, agility maneuvers and biomechanic drills. This is a workout for your whole body with a focus on increasing flexibility and endurance, not just running laps! The program will increase in difficulty as the winter goes. Variety will also be built into the program as participants become familiar with the basic exercises. We will also be targeting certain areas different weeks in order to focus on important areas of fitness.

What you get:

Instruction on technique and fitness conditioning.
A variety of fun workouts.
Others to share your hard workouts with.

Minimum requirements of participants:
Participants should be able to run 5km without stopping (regardless of time)

$60 for the Thursday nights program(10 weeks). Don't forget that there is also an entrance fee to get into the dome, $3.50 per week or 10 nights for $31.21

I may be required to limit the number of participants, so please let me know that you are interested (if you haven't already done so).
