This Saturday's Race

The RiffRaff are going to the races. This Saturday is the MEC 5 Peaks race in Mono Cliffs Provincial Park near Orangeville. The Enduro course has been measured at 11.2 km and the Sport at 5.6 km. The organizers have added a bushwhacking for prizes section where you can leave the trail for a short distance and go after some tokens in order to score some swag at the end of the race. The only cost to you are a few places and time added.

In the past couple of weeks, some rivalries have been aroused and some new challenges have been made. I believe the term "the gauntlet has been thrown down" was used at the Second Cup the other night, so this should be a good time for all who come out. If you haven't signed up for the race but are still interested, you can sign up on Race day. You don't even have to be racing, come out and cheer for your friends or come boo for the mean people.
