GGH does the Boston Marathon

It has been claimed that, "the 110th running of the
Boston Marathon was arguably the best race in its
history". My only misgiving, that for the first time
in 10 years, I wasn't able to watch it as it unfolded,
but as a consolation I thought to myself, I was in it!!!!

It isn't the best marathon in the world - nothing is,
in fact. Every marathon is different, each one an
opportunity for profound discovery. But, Boston stands
out because of its tradition, because much of the city
truly embraces the event, and because it is a pretty
darn challenging course! In fact, I could easily say
that - it was by far the toughest course of the 18
marathons I have done.

For those of you who have the ability and the
opportunity to eventually do the Boston marathon - I
urge you to go for it. It is one experience well worth
every ounce of effort.

Thank you so much for your well wishes.
