You may be turning green...
I just wanted to leave a little post in order to make the rest of you a little jealous. After dropping off my daughter this morning at daycare I decided that I was going to go for a short run in the Rouge Valley. So I drove down to the Twyn Rivers parking lot, locked my car in a parking lot with not a tire mark in it and headed out with no real destination/purpose in mind. It turned out that no matter which trail I took, I was either the second person or in most cases the very first to take that trail today. There is nothing like the feeling of first tracks on newly fallen snow. The only signs of life were sets of rabbit, deer or what I think may have been wolf or coyote prints since there weren't any human tracks anywhere near them (to be a dog's).
I can't wait until it snows again.
I know that you may be saying "Weren't there more important things that you should have been doing?" The answer is "possibly", but living for moments like these are important too.

Absolutely perfect, you have left me in awe....oh to have time on your hands to actually see the real beauty to life. You are one of the lucky ones.
Yup....I am extremely jealous, I think I should start taking snow days off along with Wednesday mornings!
