The run at Rouge Valley was quite an interesting one today. We did get a healthy dose of something we haven't seen in a while...MUD!. The trails were for the most part melted and easy going. It was brought up that we were using some muscles that we hadn't used in a while, the muscles that we use to take longer more confident strides. We also had a newbie with us today, so we had to initiate her by taking her up the ski hill. I hope that doesn't scare her off.
When we returned to our cars, the asphalt was already beginning to ice over as the colder weather was moving in. All in all it was a great run. Thank you everybody for the run today.

On another note...Do you have any suggestions for where you would like to go for breakfast after the Memorial LV north Half marathon next Sunday? If you would like to have a say or a vote in the selection process please post a comment to this message. Or if you can't figure out how to do that then just send me an email.
VERY IMPORTANT: If you think you may be coming out for breakfast next Sunday, let us (me) know so that we can book ahead.
