February Challenge: Almost finished.

Okay, so I have run for 25 days straight so far and I have less than a week left to go. What have I learned?
  • I have found that any run (even the minimum run of 2.5 miles that I set for myself) can give me a huge energy boost and the run serves as my "reset" button for the day.
  • I am now able to run with music playing and I can enjoy it. I don't understand how anyone can zone out to music for hours at a time though.
  • I am able to run by myself again, but I do prefer running with others.
  • I am faced with the question: Since my legs are constantly being used to run and there is a constant tired or weary feeling, Are my legs becoming stronger and more resilient or am I just beating them down by starving them of rest?
  • Running at 9pm on a Friday night on a stomach full of roast beef, potatoes and gravy is never a good idea. The wine doesn't help either.
  • I am glad that I picked the shortest month of the year.
