
Okay so it's been 2 sleeps since the marathon and I should have had time to recover. My legs are still not functioning the way that they should. I have decided that if I move, my next house will have no stairs or at least only stairs that go up. Both of my daughters have figured out that they can out run their daddy. So I have taken to carrying things that I can throw.
Today I am going to try to go to work. I haven't figured out how I am going to move furniture around but I will do my best. Maybe I will just double up on the pain killers and anti-imflams (Vitamin I).
So it's going to be one week of recovery and then one week of Taper before Ottawa then? Sounds like a plan...I just have to convince Kristen that this is a good idea.
Looks like my plans of doing the Jay Mountain Marathon have fallen thru. My wife is away that weekend so I will be home with the kids. Boo Hoo, all that training down the drain. Oh well, more PopTarts for me then.
Note to all: looks like someone we know finished 2nd in her age at Dundas on Sat and then did a 4-ish marathon on Sunday. Talk about Tapering!
